Campaign Story
My brother passed away a few days ago. I need help with funeral expenses.
My brother was enjoying his favorite spa, in Vilcabamba, Ecuador. It is called La Paraiso. He loved staying in their rooms and dining at their restaurant.

The staff and owners all grew to love Allen. He probably stayed in their fancy rooms for a total of three months, over the last year and a half. He would stay for two weeks at a time, for various reasons.
He went to their spa once or twice per week recently.
The spa area has three hot tubs, a pool, sauna, steam room, showers and a bar. The bar serves coconuts, which we both loved to enjoy there. If you've never done this, it is cool. They chop the top off the coconut, stick in a straw, and one drinks the water inside. Sometimes, after you drink the water, you ask someone to cut it open. The meat is good to eat, but impossible to eat in a hot tub, obviously.
On Tuesday, he was sitting in his favorite spot, in the luke warm hot tub. The staff, for obvious reasons, is constantly checking on customers. However, they are clear that there is no life guard. Allen always accepted this risk.
The manager, in charge, and son of the owner, told me that several staff members observed Allen several times over approximately an hour and a half. There was a gardener who saw Allen several times, the normal staff who check on guests saw Allen.
One minute he was fine. He was seen enjoying himself, as usual.
They think it was about 10 minutes. Then, they found him dead. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.
He had a heart attack. He died quickly.
Anyway. I'm not rich. I relocated to Ecuador also. I borrowed money from a local friend to cover the funeral expenses.
I need help with funeral expenses and costs of moving his belongings out of his home.
The funeral home charged me $1,000. I have his ashes.
It will cost another $300 to pay for help to move his stuff out.
My son's birthday was this week. We had planned to celebrate on Thursday. Sadly, I used my son's birthday money for moving expenses. Although, we're not quite in the celebratory mood right now. He said it is fine to wait until next month if we need too.
