Campaign Story
The `All Hands on Deck` project conducted by the organization Generation (Change)? is about the restoration of a 10 meter wooden boat by young people. The project will provide a space for young people to gain both intra and inter-personal skills, as well as practical skills that can be transferred into both their personal and professional lives. The project will be implemented in the grand harbour area, Malta by youth workers. As youth workers we spoke with the local community to try and pinpoint the common identities of the people in the grand harbour area, specifically Cottonera and Marsa. The common identity factor highlighted was the sea and boats. Through participating in the project, the young people will gain a variety of relevant skills and knowledge which will benefit both themselves and the local community by keeping the spirit of seafarers in the area alive.
The funds collected will be used to buy tools and safety equipment for the young people to use in the project

I am closing the remaining gap to €1,000. Let's get the boat sailing, Christian! Thanks for everything you're doing for the kids. It must have been a fate for me to have Sven as our skipper and hear about this project directly from him, because the scheduled skipper had to do the COVID vaccination.
