All for Health and Health for All Bicolanos

The Department of Health – Philippine Centers for Specialized Healthcare (DOH-PCSHC) is one of the biggest medical internship programs in the country. This is the only internship program which rotates in five of the leading public and specialized hospitals namely: East Avenue Medical Center, Philippine Heart Center, Lung Center of the Philippines, National Kidney and Transplant Institute and Philippine Children’s Medical Center. The rotation in these different hospitals allows medical interns to extremely develop their knowledge and skills in medicine. This internship program encompassed medical graduates from all over the country.

In line with the Department of Health’s vision of “All for health towards health for all”, our team is spearheading a medical mission entitled, “All for Health and Health for All Bicolanos.” We aim to provide exceptional and comprehensive medical services and holistic medical, social and spiritual care to the less fortunate in Tigaon, Camarines Sur. Specifically, we intend to render free medical consultations and health teachings to all age groups about common medical conditions and concerns, particularly, hypertension, diabetes, proper nutrition and hygiene. The medical mission will take place in Tigaon Plaza on September 11-12, 2017. We intend to reach 200 – 500 community members in this medical mission.

We are in need of sponsorships for medications, transportation, nutrition products and other finances that come with this medical mission. We would appreciate any help that may come from all of you.
