On December 15th 2018, I will begin the gnarly 1,700-mile bike ride through Mexico's Last Wilderness also known as the "Baja Divide". This route consists of 95% unpaved roads, runs through desert mountainous terrain and has stretches of up to three days without encountering towns (supplies of food/water). Because of the rugged nature of the route, it is required to have a tough, reliable bicycle and lightweight gear that can withstand 4-6 weeks of riding in this climate. As most adventurers know, these things are not cheap and even after the very generous funding I have received from the Flyin Ryan Foundation, I am still about $1,500 short of what I need to make this trip happen.
Your contribution will go towards purchasing the gear and bicycle I need to ensure I can safely complete this trip. All support is immensely appreciated and I am very excited to share my journey with you all!
