Alexis’s EDventure! – Volunteering Abroad

Hi family and friends! I am very excited to share that I have received the opportunity to volunteer abroad in Cambodia and Thailand this summer! For three weeks, I will be with an organization called EDventure International. EDventure provides a unique experience for young individuals such as myself to immerse themselves in a new country and provide help alongside locals. We will be helping teach children in schools and building a library to house recent book donations.

I will also be traveling to the neighboring country of Thailand, where I will be volunteering at an elephant rehabilitation camp. I am so grateful for this opportunity and am thankful for any help that I can get! I'm excited to travel to a new country and experience such a rich culture.

To break it down, I am looking to raise $3300 for the program, $1500 for the flight, and a little extra to help cover vaccine and travel expenses. Thank you in advance for all of your support!
