Campaign Story
Hi, my name is Aileen Garcia, single mom, with a 5 year old daughter who has been diagnosed to have tetralogy of fallot. ( Tetralogy of Fallot is a combination of four congenital abnormalities. The four defects include a ventricular septal defect (VSD), pulmonary valve stenosis, a misplaced aorta and a thickened right ventricular wall (right ventricular hypertrophy). I am humbly asking for your blessing and please help us on our journey to save my Alexa's life.
We went to see her doctor today and has been advised that she has to undergo an open heart surgery as soon as possible as her artery has become too narrow. As a single mother, I don't have enough resources to pay her surgery and medications. Once again, we are humbly knocking your hearts to save Alexa's heart. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated and we will be forever grateful.
