Alex Medical Fundraising

Alex was born February 24, 2010.He has learned to sit, loves his exersaucer and started to weight bare.He likes watching his older brother actively go about his day, the love he has for his brother is evident by the excitement in his face and in his contagious laugh every time he sees him. He giggles everytime you kiss his beautiful cheeks and feels most at peace in his mommy's arms. He has the most stunning cat-like eyes of any baby I have ever seen... every time you stare into them its like he is telling you a beautiful story. And he is so loved. Loved beyond all measure....
And so begins a difficult journey into a horrible disease known a Sandoff's (a form of Tay Sachs). He has been recently and unexpectedly diagnosed this past month after an eye exam for the possibility of needing glasses. The news was a shock (to say the least) as it would be for any parents.
Sandy and Michael, loving parents, were not mentally or financially prepared to take on this burden. And so, this fundraising page has been created, to try and lessen the worry in this difficult time, so the following months left with Alex is not filled with worry of money.

The money will be used for medical expenses, travel to and from doctor apppointments, special equipment Alex will need, homecare and for a memorial fund (for more details on a few of these items please see updates).
