Greetings! We are ALERON, an all-male choir based in Quezon City, Philippines.

Aleron is the first all-male choral ensemble in the Philippines to explore the full potential of the male vocal range - from the highest soprano down to the lowest bass - creating a unique sound that invites endless possibilities for choral music. We have collaborated with several renowned Filipino composers by advocating the creation of new choral works that reflect the vibrant trends of choral music in the Philippines combined with each composer's personal flair and voice. We began in 2006 and have made waves in the local and international choral scenes since then -- most notably with the success of our 1st European Tour in 2017 where we performed as a featured choir at the 11th World Symposium on Choral Music in Barcelona, Spain.

This year, our season theme revolves around "Exploring, Fulfilling, and Imparting IDENTITY." As part of the first aspect of this theme -- EXPLORING -- we will be embarking on a month-long European tour from May 16 to June 19, 2019. The tour's itinerary includes representing the Philippines in the 2nd Limburg Male Choir Festival in Germany, and performing as a featured choir at the Sweden Boys Choir Festival in Rättvik, Sweden, where our Ensemble Director, Christopher Arceo, will serve as the festival's first non-European guest conductor. We also have a full schedule of concerts lined up for various communities in Germany, Sweden, Denmark and Switzerland.

In Aleron, we are a family with a diverse mix of singers from different backgrounds - such as law, medicine, business, theatre, education, real estate, and of course, music. This has been instrumental in the culture of excellence and passion that our group aims to uphold. Because of this, we strive to foster understanding and community-orientedness through our music.

Representing the Philippines abroad through the choral art is a great honor and we are working hard in ensuring that we can give our best performance. However, this privilege comes at great financial costs to bring our 25-person cast to Europe -- airfare, visas, travel insurance, ground transportation, food allowances, etc. We are putting in our full efforts as individuals and as a team to make this life-changing and enriching project materialize, and we seek your generous support in helping us attain our goal.

Much gratitude in advance!
