A team of “super heroes” have come together to form Team “Alec's Avengers”. and take part in:

The Team

The Mission

The teams second mission will be to take part in the Colour Obstacle Rush to test their strength, stamina and limits. The dash is an obstacle race around an 5km course at Rother Valley on 25th June 2016.

Colour Obstacle Rush is the biggest run in the world that combines the fun of colour and obstacles. With 8 colour stations and 20 different obstacles we are going to bring you the most memorable, fun and colourful run of their life!

The Goal

The ultimate mission is to raise funding and awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in aid of Alec Syphas and ultimately to support his quality of life. DMD affects Alec’s muscles and they are getting weaker and he is finding it hard to walk / run around with his friends, recently has started to use a wheelchair to enjoy days his out. There is currently no cure for Duchenne so Alec's muscles will continue to worsen, eventually leading to paralysis and death.
