Making an ALBUM called

LIFE

Hi! My name is James Evans

I’m originally from the U.K. but moved to Slovakia over 20 years ago.

I have been a musician and playing violin for a long as I can remember and I am currently working on my new gospel album.

2 years ago my father who lived in England, tragically passed away from a Brain Tumour (Glioblastoma). It was a very aggressive form of cancer and took him far too quickly.

A few months ago I decided I wanted to make an album dedicated to my dad, as he was one of the greatest supporters of my career as a musician.

Moving forward to the last few weeks I started the process of recording, and although I had the money in which to complete the album set aside, it became apparent that a lot of this money had to be spent on more urgent things and therefore has left my project half finished.

This album would not only mean a lot to me as a way of healing but also it’s a way of supporting the Brain Tumour charity.

Each song I have composed for the album has come from a very dark and desperate place.
But not because of those challenges in particular, but because of the LIGHT and HOPE in Jesus that gave me the courage to stand again and to express these testimonies through song!
