Studying abroad to Japan!

Hi everyone and thank you for taking your time to look at my fundraising campaign!

I have just transferred into a four year university (Yay!) from a two year community college. I'm studying Criminal Justice as my major and I'm adding Language/Language arts as my minor. Art and Language would have been my major but I quickly got discouraged because of all the negative things people say about Art majors. After thinking hard about it I decided to switch it to my minor because even if I didn't have a full Art/Language degree I could expand my knowledge but practicing my art, taking classes, and exploring the world. I have always been fascinated in Japanese culture. I started reading and watching Japanese manga and anime when I was about ten years old and since then my curiosity has risen immensely.

I believe going to Japan will help me understand the culture and appreciate it fully. I also believe that this trip will help me learn Japanese which I have been trying super hard to learn. Lastly, I think that this trip will positively change my life and my way of thinking while fulfilling one of my dreams.
