Whilst living overseas and educating our two young girls, both my wife and I found it very difficult and or expensive to find items that we had readily available in our home country.

As one of 61 million roaming expats, we are all faced with this common issue, therefore we created a startup to solve this worldwide problem. We introduce you to AIRTRAVLER!

PROBLEM:

Examples of what we all face everyday.

1.) Expatriates miss their home comforts and more often than not these products are either not available in their new country of residence or may be too expensive to buy locally. Items such as vitamins, baby formula, certain foods and drinks, alcohol, tobacco and personal items are common items that expats find difficult or impossible to access.

2.) As international travellers we all enjoy and benefit from the savings of buying items duty free, but are limited to the fact that we may only travel once a year or if at all! Imagine if you could have access to duty free items each and everyday without having to travel overseas to purchase them! From your sofa on a Friday evening you could request that expensive bottle of vintage champagne and that coveted bottle of perfume and have an international traveller purchase and deliver it to you on Saturday!

3.) We all have a limited number of family & friends we can request to purchase & carry items for us be those items from home or Duty Free!

SOLUTION:

AIRTRAVLER is a digital platform whereby users request international travellers from within the community to purchase & carry goods for them whether they are Duty Free or other items purchased. This avoids the hassle of having to wait weeks if not months for family and friends to visit and bring these much loved and sometimes essential items with them. AIRTRAVLER is your dedicated personal International ON DEMAND shopping and delivery service. Imagine being able to request your favourite chocolate and have that in your hands the next day!

All monies donated will be used to develop the platforms IT's front and backends.
