Campaign Story
Our colleague Thandiswa Singiselo had to endure a start to 2023 that no one should go through. Her house burnt down. This was an effect of the current energy issue in South Africa where loadshedding is a sad reality. A surge of energy after loadshedding created a fire and not long thereafter her house was in flames, with no time left she had to watch and see her house burn down with all her possessions. She now must start all over, from clothes, utensils, repairs to be done to the house and more. We added photos of the burnt house.
