Aiding the Filipinos from Afar

The Philippines is a third-world country greatly affected by the pandemic. It is currently battling a bunch of enemies: COVID-19, poverty, unemployment, and corruption among others. The living condition in the Philippines is already hard as it is, but now the people are experiencing worse circumstances with the prolonged quarantine.

We are Filipinos currently residing in different parts of the world who have been brought together by the band One Direction years ago. While we are miles away from home, we think of our countrymen and have created a fundraiser to help Filipinos in need by providing financial aid. We believe that to get through the effects of this pandemic, we need community effort, nationalism, and the help of friends we’ve made from all over the world.

Through The Dark PH aims to raise funds for the benefit of the Filipino people suffering from great losses due to the pandemic. Many Filipino workers such as street vendors, service workers, construction workers, maintenance workers, janitors, and garbage collectors have been displaced from their jobs. They struggle to make ends meet to survive each day because they depend on their daily wages. Please help us help them get through these tough times. Any amount of help will go a long way!
