Aid trip to The Gambia

In February 2015, i will be travelling with my school to the small village of Bissary in The Gambia in order to help with the construction of houses and buildings, to teach in the school, and work in the medical centre. We will also be taking over much needed supplies to the people in the village, such as crockery, computers, exercise books, school uniforms etc. In order to be able to participate in the trip, i will need to raise the amount stated to go towards accomodation, flights and travel expenses. We won't be living in luxury, we will be living in a small compound just outside the village, having to take showers using buckets of water and working hard everyday. If i am able to participate in the amazing chance to go, it will only be to help those who need it most, and to gain first hand experience at working with impoverished people, which is something i want to do in the future. I think that people should get involved with this campaign as it will make a huge difference to the lives of those in dire need of aid, creating homes and developing a small and almost unknown village.
