Aid Musician with Equipment

Hi, There 🙂 Thank you for taking the time out to hear my plight.

My name is Fade Orange, I am a 25 year old South African hip hop musician/ graphic designer/ photographer & videographer - whose innate talent & passion for the arts, continues to pave way to a promising career in creating.

I'm kindly seeking $480 or R7297 financial aid, in order to purchase a new recording studio equipment setup:

SE Electronics SE X1 S Studio Microphone Bundle
Focusrite Scarlett Solo Gen3 USB Audio Interface
Behringer HPS5000 Closed-Type High-Performance Studio Headphones
Samson MK10 Professional Microphone Stand

Why:

In my journey I have encountered; phony producers/engineers, unreliable entertainment promoters/personnel, faulty computing hardware and software (which is honestly part of the game, I guess). Despite it all, I have remained resilient and understood that in every obstacle lies a lesson, thus constantly refining my pursuit and personality. To the extent where I finally invested in my craft, purchasing my first recording studio equipment setup.

Eventually a "friend" and I came to a working/living agreement - that we would both utilize the said equipment at his premises, as my living situation was not conducive at the time and I was set to move in once my financial affairs were in order. That same day I had arrived and dropped off my equipment at his premises, since then until now, I haven't been able to communicate with him, with him not answering my calls/texts/socials. For the longest I was operating on blind ol' trust until I sensed that something was up.

I know you may be asking yourself why I didn't just go to his place. Trust me. I tried, but the way that his premises are set up is that the resident has to fetch you at the security gate, otherwise no entry. And yes I did try involving the law, but now its been a year without my equipment and I'm not even sure if he has the means of paying me back nor does he have the equip.

Its been an emotionally and progressively draining period, as musically, everything has came to halt due to the cost of productions being so high. Causing a negative ripple effect in my general well-being.
