Love as Vast as the Ocean for Kai

As the whole world is battling against the COVID- 19 pandemic, our little angel, Kai Ligalig is also silently fighting a battle himself. Kai, who is named after the calming ocean, graced the earth on March 17, 2020 at only 30 weeks gestation. Since Kai is prematurely delivered, his body especially his lungs and other organs are not fully developed yet. Thus, he is still confined and incubated as advised by the doctors for several weeks already at Manuel J. Santos Hospital in Butuan City. Kai is battling from Respiratory Distress Syndrome, which causes him to experience difficulty in breathing. Kai also has three Sepsis infections namely B. Cepacia, S. Maltophilia & A. Baumannii.

It is a hard battle to fight but our Kai is fighting with all his might, and so are we. Yet fighting this battle comes with a high cost. Based on the current/running bill provided by the hospital it would cost at least Php 700,000.00 in total for the weeks in which Kai will still need to be staying at the facility.

Our little angel, Kai may be as strong as the waves of the ocean, but he still needs our help in fighting this battle. We are humbly asking you to fight alongside with Kai.
