I'm running the AI "Learnfun/Playfun", an AI that is already developed, but demands a lot of computing power to actually work.
For more information about the AI (video from author of the AI, not my channel) :
For those not watching the video :
This is an AI that can play any NES game by watching you playing it for a short time, then trying to do its best at playing the entire game by learning from how you played.
However, it takes a lot of computing power. A good i7 processor can only do 2.5 minutes of gameplay every 24 hours.
So what I need is a standalone AI computer with all the money going into hardware aimed at running the AI as fast as possible. More than the goal would be great, and all the money will go to the AI, but the goal is absolute minimum. I already have pretty great hardware, but the AI is extremely demanding, so I haven't been able to make any videos in a long time. The money will go into a machine that focuses only on CPU power optimized for the AI.
My goal is to get videos of the AI to play every single western (and translated Japan) NES game as far as it can go on the games.
Fun fact : Balloon Fight is the one I'm most curious about, since my early test showed it does EXTREMELY well at the game (video of the test can be found on my channel, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpQCkbA40ZVMPBJfx... )
I WOULD have put this up on Kickstarter, however, they claimed it didn't fit there and I got rejected.
