The Agueli Initiative is a charitable and educational project founded in January 2017 by Swedish Muslim theologian Isa Johansson.
Our charitable efforts are primarily centered in the Southeast Asia
region, including Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Indonesia. The funding for this campaign shall be dedicated to saving a Muslim school in Thailand from closure. The school is located in a remote village, which is also in dire need of a well to provide its inhabitants with clean water. Help us save this community!
We cannot do this without your support!
Al-Tirmidhi narrated that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection shall be his charity."
Let your generosity be an alleviation of the calamities of yourself and others; and you granting a little bit of comfort and ease to others in this life, be a comfort for you in the Hereafter.
The Agueli Initiative is a charitable and educational project founded in January 2017 by Swedish Muslim theologian Isa Johansson. It is named after famed Swedish painter and convert to Islam, Ivan Aguéli. Authentically Swedish, and authentically Muslim, Aguéli is considered one of the earliest Western European converts to Islam and disseminators of Sufism in modern history.
Founded with a dual objective, the Agueli Initiative aims to work towards community cohesion through interfaith dialogue, in addition to an active involvement in community empowerment and educational initiatives.
Through our charitable projects, we aim to:
• Provide financial support to schools with lack of funding — because we wholeheartedly believe that all children deserve education.
• Build wells in remote villages without access to pure drinking water.
• See to the upkeep of orphanages.
We seek your support through donations and prayers.
