Hello everyone, my name is Michael and I will grateful if you give me a little of your time.

I am 27 years old and have been working as a farmhand for the last 8 years. After finishing high school, my parents did not have enough money to pay for further education since they also have to educate my siblings. My parents do casual labor in other people's farms and it is always a struggle for them to make ends meet. So I moved away from home to earn a living and also assist my parents back at home.

I have always have the dream of owning my own farm and rearing high milk yielding cows. For the last 4 years, I have been working for a farmer with such cows and I have learnt the ins and outs of such a business venture. I have been saving money aiming to start such a venture for the last 4 years. Last month, the farmer I was working for died of Covid-19 leaving me jobless and helpless. I had managed to save about 1000 dollars but am now being forced to start using the money for survival. My father died 2 years ago so I have to dig deeper to help my mom raise my siblings. I am afraid I will use all my savings and be left with nothing and that is why I am seeking for your help.

The money that I have is enough for renting a piece of land. What I need now is money for building a zero grazing cattle pen ($600), buying a water tank ($600), buying hay, high phosphorus and dairy meal for the first month ($300) and two high yielding dairy cows ($3000).

Please help make my dream come true. I will provide updates as I start the project.
