Aggie and me are going Streight Edge for the month of November to raise money for out 3rd year Illustration class to take part in New Designers.
Straight edge: (sometimes abbreviated sXe) is a subculture of hardcore punk whose adherents refrain from using alcohol, tobacco and other recreational drugs, in a reaction to the excesses of punk subculture.[1][2] For some, this extends to refraining from engaging in promiscuous sex, following a vegetarian or vegan diet, and/or not using caffeine or prescription drugs.[1] The term was adopted from the song "Straight Edge" by the hardcore punk band Minor Threat. NO CAFFEINE, NO CHEESE AND NO CRACK Yes sireebob.
It is important to get out work out there as we all want to work in the illustration world or at least the creative arts but without going to exhibitions like New Designers we don't stand a chance so we would be so greatfull if you could spare even £1 to help us go an exhibit our work in London!
