After Weight Loss Surgery

My name is Zoey, I am a 29 year old single mother of two asking for help to get the body I deserve. I have lost 100lbs with strict diet and exercise within the last 2.5 years, and am ready to feel the way I should! I have looked in to an upper body lift, and have come to the realization that I am unable to finance this on my own.

I have struggled with my weight since adolesence.  I grew up with a very low self esteem, and searched for positive feedback in the wrong places. I became a mother in High School, and grew up too fast. I have always had my focus on my children and never focused on my health and wellbeing. When I was 26 years old, I reached an out of control 250lbs. I am only 5'2, so you could only imagine how unhealthy I was.  I was going in to a size 26 when I realized I could not go up a size with each year I got older! I decided to do something about it.

I started dieting and exercising. I was determined to do it the right way! I knew it would be a slow process, and I accepted the challenge. With each week that passed, the outcome became addicting. The time went by faster than expected and before I knew it, I was weighing in at 147lbs! I lost  a total of 14 inches in my waist, which is incredible to me! I am now in a size 7/8 and healthier than ever. I am a member of the YMCA and still work out 3-5 times a week. 

Unfortunately I do not feel as great as I should. I have quite a bit of excess skin, and am in desperate need of a body lift.  Of course my insurance will not cover my surgery, as they determine it cosmetic.  Some of you might think this is unneccesary.  I work with special needs children, and am always contributing to others and their success.  After all my hard work, it would be nice to feel as if my effort was worth while.   If you know of any surgeons willing to donate services in exchange for marketing support, I would be eager to share my results with the world.  I am hoping that with your generous donations, one day my wish will come true!
