Campaign Story
Hi, my name is Joao and I'm from Portugal. I started playing guitar when I was 10 years old and I've studied rock, jazz and classical music
Just a few years ago when I was 16, I was diagnosed with leukemia. Like everyone I had my ups and downs but after a year of chemotherapy I finally found a bone marrow donor for the transplant, I even had the opportunity to make a video to help me by having people donating bone marrow (the video is at the end).
I'm still in recovery but manage to finish high school. At the moment I'm giving guitar lessons to pay my course. I've composed throughout the years a few songs, and I would love to record them. Unfortunately renting a studio here is just to expensive so I'm trying to raise money to build my semi-professional home studio so I can finally record my first album. If we could reach my goal I would gladly give all the donors the album when finished.
Hope you can help me and thank you for your time.
