Like Steve Jobs once said,

Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules… You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.

They dare to test the tough through the coldness of the nights, the long hours reading endless documentations and watching tutorials through trial and error but stick to it following their intuition even at the least of resources.

They gain the skill but fail to get the job interviews because they have no certificates to prove their knowledge. People who stand all this pain are passionate people, real dreamers who have seen the problem and know exactly what to do to solve it, you can only discover what they are capable of when you give them a chance and that's what we want to do.

What if we remove all the interview process but introduce a capstone then see how knowledgeable they are. Then bring the ones proved competent together in a collaboration and see how they develop solutions.

Its an initiative to make their mode of knowledge acquirement valid and may be inspire others who are taking on this mode to stick to it and keep pushing.

We are not going against college education but we want to show those who couldn't afford that modal of education that its all not over. And its not for Africans only but to anyone in the close proximity though the title states 'African'.

We are targeting those in Computer Science field for now.

Let's Give a Hand
