Together, Trisha Haylee and Khiry are travelling to Africa to be of service. More specifically we will be working with Flying Kites Orphanage through Africa Yoga Project. We will volunteer our time and efforts to help improve this much needed orphanage!

Africa Yoga Project empowers, educates, elevates and employs lives in East Africa and globally through the power of yoga. Africa Yoga Project uses the power of yoga
to support economic development and alleviation of poverty by creating a local market
for yoga.
Vision:
To create opportunities for youth to step into their greatness, become self-
sustaining and leaders in their communities. Deliver free yoga teacher training to
marginalized youth living in Kenya’s informal settlements, creating financial and social
empowerment.
Number Facts:
•350 Free outreach yoga classes a week
•Reach over 6000 people a week through yoga
•Employ over 71 yoga teachers in Kenya. Their salary allows them to take care of themselves and 6 to 8 family members.
•210 yoga teachers trained through Africa Yoga Project teacher trainings giving them the opportunity to find employment by teaching yoga
