AFCOE Bible Training

Dear Potential Donor,
I’m getting ready to go on an incredible spiritual adventure—to go and be trained as a soul-winner for the kingdom of God. I hope you will go on this journey with me!

The Lord has put it on my heart to become a Bible Worker. I can remember just a couple years ago when I was shy and quiet, especially about things concerning my faith. But the Lord has been working on me and while growing in Him He has given me a heart of love and compassion for the lost sheep. I have done Bible work and given studies here at UF, but I want to do it full-time, and not just something on the side. I want to devote all my time and energy into doing the Lord’s work; time is short and people need to hear the truth of God and His love!

In August, I’ll be attending the Amazing Facts Center of Evangelism (AFCOE), a leading outreach-training program that raises up disciples and equips them to seek and save the lost just like Jesus did it. The class sessions include instruction on preaching, gaining decisions, how to give Bible studies, and a lot more—each taught by professional evangelists, Pastor Doug Batchelor himself and guest speakers like Stephen Bohr and Ivor Myers.

One of the most rewarding aspects of our training is the in-the-field experience, including door-to-door Bible work and participating in a five-week Bible prophecy seminar led by an Amazing Facts evangelist. I can’t wait to be part of that work and to see lives changed for the Lord; it’s what I want to do, and AFCOE will enable me to realize that goal.

My goal at AFCOE is to gain the tools, training, and experience to become an effective Bible Worker. I believe God is calling me to act now, to give my life to His work today.  After much prayer and counsel, I am convicted that AFCOE is the place where He wants me to start, but I can’t do it without your support.  First and foremost, I solicit your prayers.  To attend AFCOE, I need to raise $5,000 for tuition, dorm room, and books. Will you please keep me in your prayers and ask the Lord what He might have you invest in my life and this opportunity? As I progress through my training, I want to be accountable to you, so, I will send you updates periodically. What I am really excited about is telling you of the searching souls I will actually have an opportunity to help reach for Jesus and prayerfully lead to baptism during our evangelistic series!
