AExI Math Courses

Hi, thanks for taking the time to get to know my project.

The issue

The majority of students in Mexico lack basic Math skills and cannot keep up with the curriculum. One of the main reasons for this is that most of them don't have access to tutoring services, as most schools don't offer them, and outside of school they can be quite expensive.

In the more than 10 years that I've been a tutor, I've been able to help lots of students acquire the skills they needed to get better grades, and to better understand what Math is all about.

Unfortunately, there have been even more students which I couldn't help do to the lack of time and also do to economic reasons.

The solution (or at least part of it)

Apoyo Escolar por Internet (AExI) is a service where I provide Math online courses for 7th grade to college students in Mexico.

The courses consist of semi-personalized videos based on the questions that students send me every day.

The videos are uploaded to the following website: https://cursosdematematicas.teachable.com

There, the students can see the videos and download exercises so they can better understand the concepts they were having trouble with. In case they still don't get it, it's my job to record and upload new videos with a different approach.

Current status of the project

I have a few students that are already enrolled and have access to the courses.

These first couple of months are usually slow as most parents don't put much attention to the grades their children get this early, and that is way I'm asking for your help.

What does this project need?

These first months I can create most of the videos that will be needed during the whole year, based on the official curriculum.

Once the questions start rolling in, I can create new content as needed.

So during these first two months I need help to take care of basic expenses, which include paid ads on facebook for the amount of $275 per month, that's why the goal is $550.
