Hi! My name is Alan Bottan Morris from Necochea, Buenos Aires, Argentina, I'm here on behalf of my beloved General Necochea Aeroclub.
The Aeroclub needs to overhaul two engines, one of them powers the tow plane a DINFIA IA 46 SUPER RANQUEL, the other powers a four seater airplane, a PIPER PA 28 ARCHER used not only for training but also for ambulance service to local community if it is neccesary. Both Airplanes are powered with the same type of engine, a LYCOMING 390 FOUR CYLINDER 180HP.
Why can't the General Necochea Aeroclub meet these two needs: the overhaul of the two engines?
Since 2016 the local government has stoppped paying the profits for the rental of the General Necochea Aeroclub's lands with no reason. This is why the General Necochea Aeroclub can't afford the costs to overhaul both engines. The glider school has ten students and five glider pilots, we are going to run out of a tow airplane at the end of 2019 if we do not get funds to overhaul the engine. The scenario with the four seater is even worse because the engine is already at the mechanic work shop but we are unable to go ahead with the overhaul.
We love our Aeroclub and it is really sad for us to see how things get worsened because our local government denies General Necochea Aeroclub what, according to law, is our budget to run both schools.
We are a unique Aeroclub which offers the possibility to start being a glider pilot and then become an airplane pilot or viceversa.
If sixty thousand persons donate only one US Dollar to the General Necochea Aeroclub, we will be able to overhaul the engines and save both, the glider school and the four seater airplane.
We will be very pleased if you want to visit Aeroclub General Necochea situated in Ruta 86 km 12, Necochea, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Should you have any doubt you can reach me at +549 2262-15-571451 (cellphone), [email protected]
