Advance Pott’s Disease

I am Romel James Millanes. 31 years of age. I am raising a fund for my brother who is having an advance type of Pott’s disease. Pott’s disease is a disease that come’s from Pulmonary Tuberculosis, this happens when the infection is spreading through nearby structures specifically to the spinal column. It started as a minor backpain since february this year. He didn’t have any signs and symptoms that is why he completely ignored it and if the pain exacerbates, he will often self medicate with ibuprofen to ease the pain.

Recently, he got admitted twice at the hospital in the span of two weeks. Underwent spinal MRI scan and biopsy. The result was shocking, we were not expecting anything like it. Chronic granulomatous inflammation, affects 3 thoracic bone which explains the excruciating pain he’s been having lately. He is now unable to maintain standing and even sitting position in an hour.

Spends most of his time side lying on bed. The pain even radiates to his chest and the upper part of his abdomen. Coughing and even deep breathing is giving him a lot of pain.

Currently, he is at home and i get to take care of him. Clearly, both of us stopped working and that greatly affects our finances. We need some money to support our daily expenses and his medications for six months. Thankfully, this site was referred to me by a friend from bangladesh. Hoping to get some help, I would greatly appreciate it. I may not able to repay back the help but i will do my best to help other people in need whenever i can. Thank you and God bless you all
