Campaign Story
Moving on from my Adsdean to Kingley Vale charity run that I’ve held for the last two years I thought I’d try something different this year. On Sunday 19th September at 0700hrs I will be hiking from Adsdean Farm to Arundel town, which is around 18-19 miles distance. The walk will pass through Kingley Vale initially and then on to Goodwood, the Slindon estate and finally down in to Arundel. The aim of my walk (other than soaking up what the South Downs has to offer) is to raise some funds for Crimsham Farm CIC who are a community farming project, spearheaded and run by Veterans of the ArmedForces and young adults with learning difficulties.
As they’re a Not For Profit organisation they rely heavily on public donations and what with COVID-19 having an obvious impact on most businesses over the last 18 months it’d be nice to help them out. I’d like to round up a little team to join me on my hike, but failing that I’ll go it alone. Hopefully you can help me raise them some well deserved funds.
