For my entire life (until now!) I have been an active guy. My hobbies included things like cycling, swimming etc.

My job involved me to be on my feet for anything unto 14 hours a day, I was cabin crew for a few airlines working long haul flights. As you can tell I was a pretty active and very fit.

Unfortunately it was discovered a couple of years ago my lower spine has started to break down (a form of osteoporosis) and that has caused a large amount of nerve damage. If that wasn't bad enough I suffered 3 heart attacks in quick succession.

I have now been left struggling to stand or walk any distance. I bought a regular wheelchair and have used it for a few years but no longer have the strength to push myself so urgently need to an electric wheelchair.

New they cost upward or £4000 but I have found a secondhand one in very good condition (with a years guarantee) for £1,550

Living now on state benefits is hard enough hence with crowd funding request.

Any help, no matter how small would make such a massive difference to my life! Thank you in advance - Adrian
