Adoption for Lizzy

My name is Michael Morse and I am writing this letter to appeal to your sense of charity on behalf of my brother Scott Morse, and his family. Please read on, as they are in dire need of assistance. Scott is a single parent with two daughters, Jessica and Elizabeth. Scott’s oldest daughter, Elizabeth is severely disabled. She is blind, deaf, suffers frequent seizures and cerebral palsy. Elizabeth is 17 years old and Scott has cared for her since she was born. She is 100% dependent upon him for movement, feeding, and care. Scott was recently informed that unless he legally adopts Elizabeth before her 18th birthday, the state of Arkansas will remove her from his house and put her in a home. Scott is the legal father Elizabeth but she does not have his last name. The mother is no longer in their lives. He has raised his family through the struggles that face him daily and never complains. He is a great dad, and I admire his strength. His sacrifices over the years to care for his family are too many to count. So I am asking for donations so he can pay for the attorney so he can adopt his daughter.
