Our dream

More than 20 months ago we moved to Indonesia with our family and left everything behind. We followed our dream to share knowledge in education and create new opportunities for unprivileged children in Bandung for a better future.

The level of education in Indonesia is one of the lowest in the world. The abilities of Indonesia’s 15-year-old pupils in Math, Science and Reading skills are unfortunately some of the worst in the world. Based on results from Math, Science and Reading tests administered in 2012, Indonesia ranked 64th out of 65 participating countries. (The Program for International Student Assessment/PISA-2012 report). More than 70 million children in the age of 4-15 are missing opportunities for development and a good future.

Introducing the “adoptAteacher” program

With your support, we can contribute to improve the quality of the local education. How? We will start an enrichment program for teachers, since they are the key to solve this problem. We will provide the teachers with educational equipment and train them how to use it for teaching different subjects. It is impossible, though, for the teachers to fund themselves in order to participate in this program. We need your support to cover the cost of the educational equipment for the program. Our company will help to arrange for the supply of this educational equipment and train the teachers for free.
