For over a year I have been fostering a 3-4 year old black lab/ coonhound mix. His owner dropped him off and paid for him to be euthanized. He was rescued and I took him in. He didn't know his name or any commands, including one as basic as sit. He was a 70 pound under-fed and untrained piece of work. Through constant work and attention, he has transformed into a wonderful, loving dog. He is no longer the dog that constantly tries to run away or destroy something. He is well behaved, well mannered and very loyal.
At this point I can't imagine parting with him. There is someone interested in adopting him but I feel that his forever home is with me. I'm trying to raise the funds to adopt him into our family.
