Addiction Recovery For All

Greetings,

My goal is to create a not-for-profit entity that would focus on providing alcohol and drug addiction funding for individuals who would not be able to afford treatment on their own or who have no insurance coverage. When I made the decision to get help for my alcohol addiction I was amazed at #1 the expense and #2 the lack of help that was available. By creating a not-for-profit I will be able to apply for federal, state and local grants and accept tax deductible contributions from individual and corporations to make recovery available to all who want it. Our goal is to provide a comprenhensive network of treatment centers, recovery houses and programs and then provide a helping hand to those who are committed to the program and their sobriety. The money I am asking for will 100% go to the formation of this organization and the filing of all of the necessary paperwork to create a 501(c). Any little donation will help and can go a great distance towards saving a life and helping those that suffer from the disease that is addiction to re-enter society as a healthy, responsible individual.
