Hi. I'm Ivan Dizon. The father of the child I'm going to ask help for. My wife was scheduled to give birth on May 5, 2019. But due to a condition known as abruptio placenta (abruption of the placenta), she had to undergo an emergency CS last March 10,2019 at VRP medical center in Boni. Our child was only 7 months old and was immediately send to Special Care Unit. He was immediately hooked to a mechanical ventilator to facilitate breathing. He is getting well day by day, so as the bill in the hospital. Last time I updated our bill was today, March 20 and it was already at P298,000 ($6000). We managed to pay P40,000 ($800) coming from funds we saved and an additional P30,000 ($600) from all the donations we got so far.. The hospital management told me that if I'm not able to pay more, they will be force to cut his medical treatment (I guess that's the normal practice for hospital these days). You might ask, how come we are admitted to a private hospital. For one, We only have money for a full term normal delivery and it just so happen her OB works there. Second, as I've said she underwent emergency CS so we are unable to transfer anymore to a government hospital. I'm pleading for your help. Whoever can read this. Please help us save my child.
