ADAMSVILLE DIXIE YOUTH
TEAM MANAGER: BARRY KIDDY
ASST COACHES: STACY JAGGERS, JR SWEAT
We are proud to announce that the Adamsville, TN 11/12 year old Dixie Youth All-Star team is
TEAM TENNESSEE!
They will represent our wonderful state at the Dixie Youth World Series in Lexington, SC
August 7-12, 2015
We are seeking direct contributions from members of the community and beyond, to allow these boys the chance to experience this once in a lifetime opportunity. The memories they will make during this event are priceless and will be treasured forever. These boys have worked so hard to earn this title, beating teams from 6 districts across the state of Tennessee.Their achievements deserve to awarded and praised at the highest level.
The costs listed below are the definite expenses we will incur. This does not include any travel expenses such as gas or any extra for the Coaches.
Estimated Cost we will incur for the 12 boys:
HOTELS:$100/nightx 6 nights =$7200
MEALS: $20/DAY x 6 days x 12 boys = $1440
NEW TENNESSEE UNIFORMS (JERSEY, PANTS, SOCKS, HAT) x 12= $1000
PINS FOR PIN TRADING CEREMONY:200 PINS X $3 per pin = $600
While we understand times are tough economically for most everyone, we truly feel that the intangible benefits our youth receive through participating in Dixie Youth Baseball cannot be tracked with a price tag. The life skills they achieve by participating are invaluable to them as they enter and move through their childhood and into adulthood.We thank you and appreciate anything you are able to do to support this group of great young men.
All contributions are tax deductible and proper documentation will be provided if needed.

Congratulations players, coaches and parents on Adamsville's first place win in the Dixie Youth state championship tournament. It is quite evident by the effort and persevance these young players exhibited that there was a strong desire and a determined hunger in their hearts that would guide them to this important milestone. Memories will be made and friendships will develop that will last a lifetime. Baseball one of the greatest lessons in life has made its mark on these young players and I wish them much success and an injury free World Series baseball adventure. Glenda Temple.......
