During the Summer of 2018 I am taking part in a World Challenge expedition to Costa Rica and Nicaragua. I feel that this journey will not only be very beneficial for the causes that we aid during the trip, through restoration and conservation, but also for myself to develop as a person - learning new life skills, experiencing a whole new culture, embracing a different way of living, pushing myself to new heights and getting first hand experience in making a difference to people's lives.
As the expedition is only in its early days, specific details of which community and environmental projects we are taking part in have not yet been decided, but will hopefully be confirmed in the very near future :)
I know the cost of the expedition is quite a substantial amount, but any support and help would be very much appreciated.
I am undergoing various fundraising schemes and events, starting off with a 5 kilometre swim, along with many others such as long distance cycling and a half Marathon. I will be updating regularly on the challenges I will be undergoing to raise money for the expedition - so stay tuned! :)
