Humanitarian Action for Conflict and Climate Threats (ACTion) Fund

Imagine yourself standing in the midst of a war-torn region or living with a family in area devastated by a natural calamity. As makeshift camps swell with more people, living condition becomes more difficult especially for women and children. Overcrowded settlements are breeding grounds for infectious diseases where food rations, water and sanitation are at breaking point.

This is the very reason why we set up the Humanitarian Action for Conflicts and Climate Threats or ACTion Fund so we can immediately respond to vulnerable population with emergency assistance and humanitarian aid. We work with kind-hearted individuals and private partners to mobilize resources and provide immediate response to communities during humanitarian crisis.

We recently led an early response to the Ronghiya refugee crisis in Bangladesh and the earthquake and tsunami disaster in Sulawesi, Indonesia.

We coordinate with FXF Action Teams and government-sanctioned institutions working in conflict and climate hazard areas to deliver timely assistance to affected population. Our emergency assistance primarily focuses on getting food, water, and sanitation packs immediately to the communities in need.

Friends Across Frontiers (FXF) is a non-profit, international alliance of experienced professionals and credible social protection specialists and volunteers committed to making the world secure through a well established and effective systems of social protection. Organized in mid-2017, we work independently on each country programs but bound by a shared commitment and collectively work towards enhancing social protection mechanisms in-country and across our borders.
