Accident – flood in a living and working space

Hi,

Recently there was an accident in our apartment. It was flood everywhere and our home and working place is devasteted. We are owners of a small handmade business (www.etsy.com/shop/FelThink) and our work space is integrated in our living space. So, right now we lost both. Also, this small business is our only income (for two people, me and my husband). As our walls, floor, kitchen appliances, electricity, bed, tables, chairs, working supplies are not usable at all, we are looking for your help. Also, there is a bad smell and humidity which is stopping us to work and produce dolls as it is not hygienic at all. To be able to work and live in a healthy space again, we are looking to recover emergencies for the start. We will be happy to fundraise enough money to be able to get rid of moisture out of walls, to recover walls, electricity and the floor. This is essential so we can continue with our lives and work as soon as possible (and it will cost us around 4.000,00USD). Everything else, we will manage little by little.

In the end, we live in Zrenjanin (Serbia) where our law system is very pure organised. Nobody (police, firefighters) didn`t want to come after we called for an emergency. Also, there is not enough money in our budget, said the building owners (we are owners just of our 1 appartment). We colected all the documents and got advised with our good friend who is a laywer and he is helping us too. However, if you know anybody who lives in Serbia, they can confirm that we will or loose this case, or we will be paid for it after years, and never full amount. We cannot wait for that as we need to start working again as soon as possible.
