Abuse Cause – Good Christian Woman Needs to Move to Safe Residence

As a Christian Minister and individual who helps the local community (as my own funds permit, I beseech you to please assist me in helping this older woman, we'll call "B". B is a senior who lives with her daughter and it has come to my attention from a fellow Pastor that B is subjected to abuse from her own daughter. As a result of the oppressive atmosphere, she has been financially depleted and hindered from ever moving away on her own.

This Pastor's wife and myself have urged her to move into a newer HUD-assisted apartment near our church. B let me help with the paperwork and application fees and thankfully, she was approved to become a resident there.

Although I have personally (gladly) expended time, gas and monies for Application/processing Fees, I am unable on my own to raise the $1600 for security, first month rent and etc.

Importantly, B can afford the low subsidized rent on her own Social Security income once she moves in. Myself and a congregation member will move her possessions and the requested budget allows for gas and truck rental.
