Above the Clouds

Figawi Race Weekend is recognized as a top sailing event not only on the east coast, but internationally as well. As an annual Memorial Day tradition, Figawi kicks off the Cape Cod and Nantucket summer season. The Figawi race has been so successful that the Travel Channel will be covering this year’s event. Entries will again include sailors from several states and over 240 boats.This year my friend Brendan Feitelberg will be racing in the Figawi for Above the Clouds, a charity for near to my heart. Above the Clouds is a non-profit organization whose mission is to bring joy and hope to seriously ill, disabled, and disadvantaged children and teens through the wonder of small aircraft flight. The Dream Flyer program allows children with medical problems to enjoy a thrilling and joyful flight in the co-pilots seat. The Cadet Flyer program offers underprivileged and at risk teens the opportunity to learn how to fly an airplane alone, instilling a sense of hope for the future.100% of my donations will go solely to Above the Clouds.
