Campaign Story
To everyone who may not yet have heard the news, our dear friend Abi Ajose (Junior) was killed in the early hours of Sunday 21 June 2020
Abi died at 36, he is a man that loved peace, harmony and he always looked out for young people in the community. Over the past 8 years until his death he has been working in children services within Greater Manchester, looking after vulnerable children in the city. A selfless and caring brother to many in the community. Testament to his character, died trying to prevent such a tragic event from happening.
Funeral plans are still being arranged, and any updates regarding locations and times will be posted here.As you are all aware, Abayomi (Junior) is father to Lara, Seyon and Sedona and loving wife of Lola. What has happened is beyond comprehension and we are all still in shock.
Understandably Lola is struggling to cope, so I am stepping in to help with organising Abayomi’s Funeral. Abi leaves behind a young family, his wife Lola and 3 beautiful children, Lara, Seyon and Sedona. We have had numerous emails, texts and messages from people asking how to help, so this campaign has been created as a way to offer a place for messages and donations to be left. Also to thank him as well show support for his contribution to the community.
If you would like to donate, just click on the donate button and donate whatever you can. If you are not able to donate don’t forget you can still leave messages and comments for Lola and the children to read.
Also, make sure you follow this page so that you receive any updates regarding the funeral. If anyone has any questions, you can send me a message by clicking on my name at the top of the page.
