Campaign Story
Nat was abandoned just before Christmas in the middle of the Sardinian countryside. He is only 8-10 months old. Here, there is poor awareness of the importance of castration/spaying dogs that could come into contact with others in the local area. There is also a high rate of abandonment of unwanted puppies and a low rate of adoption from rescue centres, which are always full and under-funded.
I am living here in the country only temporarily and have 3 rescue dogs of my own and cannot take him on. He has been treated for parassites and is now a well-fed and happy guest. But this cannot last...
To send Nat to a better place, where a rescue association will ensure he finds his forever family, I need at least €300. This includes castration, vaccinations, temporary housing, travel and travel documents.
Please help me reach this goal, for Nat. Thank you.

Nat is STILL WAITING IN KENNELS!
Update posted by Elizabeth Walling at 03:05 pmNat is still in his temporary kennels, doing well and waiting to hear when he will be able to travel abroad for permanent adoption. The URGENT OPERATION to remove his retained testicles that will otherwise CAUSE EARLY DEATH is pending funding.PLEASE HELP ME HELP NAT!
Oh no! Vet's bills!
Update posted by Elizabeth Walling at 06:09 amNat has been assessed by a vet at the temporary kennels and it appears he has RETAINED TESTICLES, which means his testicles have developed in the abdomen, instead of dropping into the scrotum. This has MORE THAN DOUBLED THE COST OF CASTRATION, as it is a surgical intervention to remove
Nat goes into temporary kennels
Update posted by Elizabeth Walling at 07:30 pmHaving passed his harness + lead and car tests with flying colours, Nat has now gone to stay in paid temporary kennels, where he will be castrated and then cared for together with other doggy guests until we find his forever family abroad.
