A Tribute to the Injured Soldiers of the Philippines

This coming Febuary 2018, Dulaang Rock Opera Company (Dulaang ROC), the premier student theatre organization from the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) will hold its yearly outreach program which aims to give back to society while still promoting the theater arts. This year's outreach program will recognize and honor our unsung heroes who valiantly fought for freedom, peace, and liberty entitled “ Play for a Cause: Saludo Para sa'ting mga Sundalo" which will consist of a fundraising activity and an outreach program dedicated to the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

The outreach program will take place on February 3, 2018 in AFP Medical Center where an amount of PHP 50, 000 will be donated to improve the hospital facilities of the said medical center. Moreover, an afternoon will be spent with the soldiers and their families. Furthermore, as a way of showing gratitude for their selfless acts of heroism, a program will be conducted composed of a series of games, performances, and a breakout session where Dulaang ROC members will have the opportunity to get to have a closer encounter with the soldiers with the hopes of bringing them hope and joy.
