A trail to the future

Greetings!

We are the small branch of big non-governmental tourist organization in Poland. In these times, when is Covid, people afraid travelling and other activities, is not esy to us for survive. We have financial problem's which we tried solve successively before epidemic. Unfortunately, in 2020 was only worse. We couldn't working in our full spectrum, and our debt growing and growing... But first, who we are?

We are not big organization (about 150 people) which very like tourism, especially hiking/trekking and cycling but also sightseeing. A little part of members, are people which work as volunteer's, without gratification. We organize trekking trips for people (children and adults), take care of trail blazing in out region (almost 600 km marked tourist trails), and have big library and preparing to open - museum of tourist souvenir's. It's the only such museum in our country.

Most of our activities organize by volunteer's, sometimes we get any grant's for our work. Unfortunately, because we are non-governmental organization, we can't make commercial tourism, for profits. Only for statutory goals. But we have debt's from past, this debt growing, and still we have lot cost's - we need money for our headquarters, not for worker's - in office we are volunteers. Tourism is a passion for all of us, and willingly we organize trips for other people.

Every year, over 2,000 people take part in our events, mainly children. Our event are cheap, because there are not commercial. Money we need for calm work, to stay "on the trail to the future". We want to do what we like for others, safety, because in other case - we are threatened with liquidation of the organization. Now creditors understand our situation but in the end we will be forced to the final solutions. In our country is one problem, a lot such organization is treat like business, too much people don't understand that we not working for money and not get subsidy from the state, we have to almost constantly look for money because membership fees are not enough.

We have still a lot idea's, a lot plan's of trip for people in normal times, and we want realize this.Apart from excursions, we also help people looking for information about the region (students writing thesis), organize trainings for guides, we do thematic lessons for students, we cooperate with similar organizations.

Help us to continue what we do, help us financially. Debt is more than goal, but we know - we also have to work to pay it off, we are not asking for help in paying off the entire debt. We try find money too, personal.
