My daughter, Rya Louine Laus, 15 years of age was diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia. And as treatment she has to take 6 tablets of Imatinib Glivec per day which costs Php1400 per tablet. CML has no cure and she needs to take medication everyday for her condition not to enter the advance or blast phase which is very critical. I already asked assistance from PCSO, DSWD and Oath Program for her previous medication. For almost 1.5 years, I remain strong for her, making sure that she will be able to take her medication everyday. My mindset... soon she'll be cancer free. From 54% result of her BCR ABL, it went down to 24%. The target is less that 5%, better if 0%. She has upcoming bone marrow test this November which costs Php30,000. With her daily medication and upcoming tests and laboratories, financial assistance is needed. I hope you could help us. Any amount of donation and your prayers will help her live a normal life which I really want to give her. I want her to enjoy her teenage life and be able to reach her ambitions.
