A Teen Rom-Com with Bi Leads

In light of new movies like Love, Simon and To All the Boys I've Loved Before, I wish to tell a story that centres on a bisexual teenage girl who likes Panic! at the Disco and sappy rom-coms, who finds love in the form of another girl, a new student at her high-school.

I want to tell a story of love, self-exploration, teen sexuality that would not be fetishized in any way. Too long I've seen women who love women become an object of a male's twisted sexual desires, and it disgusts me to the core that something so innocent as love could be so wrongly interpreted. Well, no more; the LGBT community have been so oppressed for such a long time, and even when the world is starting to open their arms and hearts to these people, they are still a long way from being truly accepted and I wish to change that with your help.

I believe that with this movie, there will be more love spread across all platforms to all kinds of people all around the world. Honestly, love in all forms deserves a chance in the global screen, especially young girls being in love, because I know for a fact that sexuality amongst teens is still a taboo, and we need to discuss it open-mindedly.

With the funds, I will ensure that this project sees the light of day, and I will not stop fighting for the community until representation in TV shows and movies is a more recurring positive thing to see, starting with this untitled project that I hold so dearly to my heart.

This is for the young girls who never really saw themselves in teen movies growing up, and this is for the young girls who will see themselves in teen movies in the future. I hope you see people like you on the big screen at some point in two years or so.
