A TEACHER ASKING FOR YOUR HELP - JULIUS BANIQUED #TeacherJuliusBaniqued
Dearest Family and Friends,
I would like to apologise for providing a very late update on my brother's status.
I am Urduja Baniqued Pingol, Julius' brother. First of all, our family is very thankful for all the blessings that you have shared with my brother - we can never thank you enough. As we have mentioned below, we are doing this fund raising so he can undergo a kidney transplant. Yesterday, 31 March 2020, my brother went to UST hospital for dialysis (the government center where he usually goes to was closed due to the ECQ) but after further checking by the Doctors, they found out that he has developed pneumonia. They are still searching for a hospital that is willing to admit him since UST and other hospitals are already at a max capacity.
We want to be transparent with all of you who have helped us - though we are saving these funds for his transplant, we will be forced to withdraw this to finance his current situation. His attending physician already informed us that we would need money for the treatment.
Again, on behalf of my brother, I am knocking to your hearts for your generosity and please pray that he will have enough strength so that he can surpass this. Thank you.

======================
I am JULIUS BANIQUED, 48 years old from Manila, Philippines. I am suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and has been undergoing treatment. Unfortunately, dialysis treatments are no longer improving my condition and I am suffering from total kidney failure or End Stage Renal Disease which is the last stage (Stage 5) of CKD. My best option to survive is to undergo a kidney transplant.
I am a father of two and has been working as a Catholic School Teacher at Malate Catholic School, Manila, Philippines. This is my calling and has been doing this for 23 years now.
I still remember, one day while I was playing piano in school for our Glee Club during Mama Mary’s birthday, next thing I was grasping for breath and was rushed to the hospital. The Doctor had to immediately conduct Femoral catheter procedure on me and due to infection another operation done was the Fistula.
While waiting for the transplant, I have to undergo dialysis 3x a week but since this is very costly, I am unable to complete the required treatment (I consider myself lucky if I am able to go at least once a week). There are days that I am very weak and unable to teach. Due to my condition, I have consumed all my leaves and working on a no-work no-pay basis.
I am humbly knocking to your hearts to PLEASE HELP ME SURVIVE. I still want to be a FATHER to my children, a HUSBAND to my wife and a TEACHER to my students. I know I will get through this with the help of God, my family, friends and generous people like you.
Maraming salamat po!
