This is a letter from Steve to all of you:

I was born on September 17, Steven Michel Dugue, I am from the Dominican Republic, I live in the well-known cabarete where I live with my parents and my older sister.

I will tell you a little more about myself, I was born with some medical complications since I am seven months old, some of my hobbies have to do with the heart but little by little and thanks to God and my parents, after many visits to the doctor I was able to heal, I studied I finished high school, I am currently going to university, I am studying computer science.

At school and in my daily life I received a lot of teasing from others because of my physical complexion, which made me a shy, embarrassing person and with a lot of anxiety, 5 years ago this got worse, when my spine deviated from the apparent nothing what has the medical term scoliosis, with this came more ridicule from others, which triggered me to become someone very insecure, introverted and my anxiety increased; This condition causes me a lot of discomfort and pain, cramps on one occasion my legs gave out at that moment I thought I would be paralyzed, it was a terrifying experience.

This condition can affect organs such as the lungs and heart, affecting the normal functioning of these, which I am afraid could happen to me. As I explained earlier, scoliosis causes me a lot of pain, cramps and prevents me from standing or sitting for a long time, which causes me inconvenience to perform at work.

Now I plead with your heart and your good will to ask each one of you to help me pay for surgery to help reverse this condition. The operation is somewhat expensive and adding the medications, medical consultations and previous therapies, the cost would be around 30,000 USD.
